On-Line Family and Friends: Special Greetings To All Of
Columbus Day Holiday is here!!! You may be wondering why I’m so thrilled about this
if you know anything about us, then you must know this
is the time of year we are off on vacation.
Normally all roads lead to Miami for fun and
excitement due to
the Caribbean Carnival being held this weekend.
We however have deviated from the norm and
decided to just relax, get some needed rest, and spend
time with friends in the theme park capital of the
it’s not though, because visiting with people you
respect and adore is splendid.
It’s even more awesome that our time is being
spent in a city we are passionate about; and most
importantly a city we once called home, and have built
some fantastic memories in.
since our vacation has begun, my “vibing” with you
will be short.
briefly update you on Reggae Superstar “Buju Banton" [Mr.
Mark Anthony Myrie,] regarding his bail hearing.
decision was made regarding his bail. Instead I
understand Magistrate Judge Anthony Porcelli reserved judgment
until next week after hearing arguments for bond from Buju B's
Attorney David Oscar Markus (who presented an intriguing
bond proposal,) and opposing arguments from prosecutor
James Preston. The
judge further stated he wanted to thoroughly review the
arguments before he makes a decision.
Obviously, "Buju B"
and his family are anxiously awaiting the Judge’s
the way, thanks to so many of you who responded to my
last week’s E-newsletter about this devastating issue
and for taking the time to read the transcript I was
able to obtain regarding Buju’s conversations, etc.
Hum, your comments were truly insightful, and I
thank you for all of them.
Continue keeping "Buju
B" in your prayers especially during this grave
and solemn time of tribulation. Remember his new
album "Before The Dawn" was released a
little over a week ago, so
go out and purchase it!

Did you know that Women who are 40 and older must
have a mammogram. Mammograms are an important part
of health screening and can help find cancers when they
are small and most treatable. I
have come to learn and understand many of the risk
factors that increase breast cancer, and just being
a woman and getting older is two of the most important
(1) leading a healthy lifestyle, (2) getting a more
general understanding of what factors may increase your
risk and (3) as I stated above get regular screening
